Finished Winter Semester 2008!
Summary of today
1) It was very long. Lots of coffee, lots of theorems.
2) I *passed* Astronomy 101, with a 70%. Not bad, it's enough to qualify me for Ast202, where I suspect I'll clean up.
3) Our CS327 project went well. Very well. Not perfect, by any stretch, but really only one known bug(!) in a massive tangled heirarchical sphagetti-code mess, and it performs very accurately. And despite it's appearances it is modular.
4) Our presentation was a bomb. Of 3 Laptops/computers available, none of them would work to the point where we could even run our program, nevermind test it. We ended up presenting in the closet in front of the prof, which should be ok, although not great.
5) Otherwise the class went *extremely* well. Learned lots, read lots, kept up with a grad student more or less, and really did accomplish something with my program. I suspect I may very well have qualified for the summer class, although I may not qualify after all for the ICMC trip(I bet the table group will get that).
